Wow, Just seen this offer on Twitter that is some deal.

Genuine question, are Blizzard losing subs?

Of course they are, lost roughly 1m subs in the past 6 months (figures quoted off the top of my head, its something like 100k last quarter, 400k quarter before, 300k quarter before that) but are still by FAR the largest subscription based MMO out there.

The 1 year + Diablo 3 helped retain a lot of customers I imagine, as will this, temporarily at least. SWTOR took a fairly large chunk of subs away, though from what I hear, quite a few are returning.

I used to play on that server many moons ago, was my first transfer (from Bloodfeather, due to lag) to do end game content at 60 in Vanilla WoW.

There is a reason it's called Dentard.

haha, yeah its dead. One of the main reasons i quit for a year. Finding an alliance to kill is about as rare as soloing deathwing at level 10.

I moved away (due to raiding again) and changed faction.

I enjoyed Denatd at the start, the Alliance (preferred side) were active and it was (for the most part) quite a well balanced server (this is going back a couple of years) but before I moved to Defias Brotherhood, it just declined. I'd never (and still haven't) encountered an Alliance side so woefully inept and unintelligent.

Genuinely shocked me at the time, every login it got worse. There was quite a large Swedish community which was horrible to be on the same side as.

He needs to buy 30 days worth of gametime for you to get the mount. If you uses a cc/debit card option, you need to wait for the payment to be taken, which wont happen till after he uses his free 7 days. you can get past that by having him buy prepaid gametime from the EU blizzard store.

Was not on about the mount bud. Hes still showing as level 8 not 80 and now the characters disappeared from his current server so hoping its in the middle of being transferred to my server to join me. Annoyingly seems to be taking its time.
