This series is the first time I've seen this programme. Just watched the first two on iPlayer, will do the remaining three to catch up tonight. What accent does the werewolf played by Michael Socha have? I can't place it at all. Never heard someone say "aht" before for "out".

never would have guessed it.
he sounds more like someone from up north to me, i spent 18-19 years of my life in nottingham and never would have guessed he was from derby which is just a stones throw from nottingham

Haha, I never thought to Google it. Yes, Derby sounds right. I recall now one of my uni mates said "aht" and he was from Derbyshire. Cheers.

I'm loving it - catching up on iplayer as quick as I can.

One odd thing - as soon as I started watching episode one I realised I'd managed to totally miss series 3. No idea how an entire series managed to pass without me noticing

yea the new vampire guy is great

i didnt like the first episode but everyone since has been really good imo

Tom's been in it before and provides a good antithesis to George and his werewolf angst. Very little is made of his werewolfness (except by the vampires, obviously) which is a good change.

Hal is supposed to be an old one and always appears to be right on the very edge of his sanity by trying to keep himself clean.

So yeah, the replacement characters are actually pretty good. Totally different from Mitchell and George which gives the show a different vibe. It actually feels fresher.
