Forza 4

Yeah upgraded opponent cars doesn't seem to have made a great deal of difference to that.

The AI still does really dumb things sometimes, even on hard, like just randomly braking down a long straight.

I think it's been pointed out before but there's also something really weird going on sometimes where you rewind out of a crash and then resume playing, and the car you'd hit just randomly drives off into the wall

I'm not keen on the car or track, but it will be interesting to see what time Montoya sets for King of the Track when he sets it that is :p

EDIT: It's a 1:32.574 set with ABS TCS Full Auto uncertified.

They do seem to like brake testing now if it isn't that its the uncertainty routines which have pretty similar results.

bought Forza a month ago, still not played it yet, i think it may be time to give it a go...

I've had the misfortune to be without it for a month and i still get the shakes, especially when i remember i have another 5 weeks to go :(. It's horrible. Worse than going cold turkey from heroin i imagine.

Just tried the Lambo on the 'ring... Best time so far is dirty and over 8:30, which is hideous. The top time on the board is under 7 minutes

Although googling suggests that in real life the LP570-4 gets a time of about 7:40 around there... So something isn't quite right.

I've heard people say that the course in the game is shorter than in real life... That certainly seems to be the case. Either that or the car physics are absurdly unrealistic, which doesn't seem all that likely.

 Srsly? You can go flat out over some of the bumpy sections without lifting, yet you don't veer off into the wall. Forza 4 is excellent, but it is no sim.

You don't have to use a stock car, any tuning up to R3-800 is allowed. It's worth around 25 seconds off the standard car.

I'm not claiming it's a sim, but I'm saying I doubt the physics are inaccurate to the point of being 45s off a real time, hence my use of the word "absurdly". Mario Kart is "absurdly" unrealistic. Forza 4 is not.

Magicboy's explanation makes more sense.

My best time with the Zonda R on the ring is around 25 seconds slower than real life, which whilst I'm not exactly over the moon with, I don't think I can go any quicker..

On a different note I'm a novice with decals and painting - the only R class car in my garage is my M3 GT2 but despite buying a load of paintjobs from the storefront the game doesn't allow me to apply them - why is this? :(
