How long is memory going to stay cheap?

I am looking at building a system based about Ivy Bridge? I am hoping this will be released in May time.

Should I buy my ram now?? If so what would be the best stuff to get in a 2 x 4gb configuration?

i still remember paying hundreds of pounds for an extra 4 MEG of ram

everything is peanuts these days compared to their equivilants 10-15 years ago

May have been bad batch, as one month old ram had errors & replacement ram. Lights still worked though
