Hi guys, for the last couple of years all the laptops I have had have been cheap and budget spec laptops, which have done me good but never ever give me the required power I need. Since then I have saved up some money for a decent laptop and now I am looking to purchase. I have been waiting for Apple to release a new mac book but this doesn't seem like its going to happen for a while so now im back on the hunt for a quality Windows laptop.

What im looking for

A fairly useful battery life 3 hours?
Quality is a must
Ability to Game
Run virtual machines with ease.
Video editing
Web Design

So my question to you guys is do you have any recommendations on which laptop to get MSI, Alienware, Samsung etc

Thanks a lot
Jack

I have a Asus N55SF i7-2670QM, GT 555M, 6gb DDR3, HDD 640gb, Blue-ray drive, MATT 1200*900 Screen.

Plays MW3 and Skyrim well at native when set to medium, higher if you OC GC.
Great finish in piano black, finger print magnet tho :)
3ish hours doable on battery if you are careful (desktop replacement so not the best battery life).
Oracle runs fine for my liking.
I guess the i7 will handle video editing fine with a little help form the GC :)
Web design N/K as l don't do any.

Also great for playing music with the nicely designed Bang & Olufsen sound system :)

Hope this helps.

Hi thanks for the reply, I'm going to look into that laptop right now, as it sounds to meet my needs.

Cheers
