iPad Dock??

Hi All,

I preordered the iPad 3rd Gen along with a dock, the dock arrived today and says "iPad 2 Dock". Will this still fit the new iPad as it was advertised as a suggested product when i bought the new iPad?

I was wondering this myself as I have the dock from my old iPad2 which has now gone. It's quite a snug fit so didn't know if the slightly thicker iPad3 would fit but the Apple website lists it as compatible with both so I guess it does.

AFAIK there is not size difference between the iPad 2 or 3

The 3rd generation is slightly thicker than the iPad 2.

0.8mm is probably not enough to make a dock not fit tho

Probably not but I didn't want someone to buy something on my say so when I'm not sure myself.
