They are quick. Quick enough to match every other hot hatch out there. (Bar the new generation RS/Megane etc)

Compared to anything reasonably modified. Even modified ST's need a LOT of power to be considered quick really - they're heavy old beasts. But therein is the brisk comfort

Mines 316.1BHP and 392Ft./Lb. at last check, that was before the Sitech manifold as well.

Nah, could fit one with some modifications, but as I'm led to believe it's far easier to fit a one to a LHD version.

But it's also what? 1400kgs? so 225bhp/ton.

I'm not having a pop (promise) but I'm comparing "quick" compared to QUICK.

It's a struggle using more than 300hp on decent driving roads anyway in this country with the poor road surface!
