was our local pub 2 day game last weekend, took that down for £830
I need to get involved in this kind of play, I usually do well "IRL"
Huge game at DTD in Nottingham at moment, £700 buy in and so far there are 1471 players making a prize pool of £1,029,700, there is still late reg until 19:40 so this will rise but prob not by much

can't play as on call all weekend
A few people on twitter were on about it, if I were nearby I would have got involved in a few satt's to get in.
I started a tournament yesterday morning at about 11am, then at around 1ish I started feeling really ill, so I had a sleep. I logged back in at about 4 and had 3 bbs
.....I managed to build it up to a just below average stack before being knocked out

I tried playing today, but just wasn't feeling it. Been in bed for the last week, so I have been playing quite a bit. Not exactly been on top form though!

Best club in Europe by some way and better than almost all in Vegas / Atlantic City TBH
only ones that get close are probably the Venetian and Borgata

Just qualified for the £100k chipleader final
and shortly the £500 mega sats for wsop packages at the club
oh and a small matter of late July in Vegas

Currently, I am trying out the Holdem Manager 2 trial software. Has anyone got any experience using programs like these? I would be grateful for some help, as it seems a little tricky to get started. The overwhelming consensus on DeucesCracked.com seems to be that poker software is necessary.

Playing this on Saturday, £30k first prize, I have 110k starting stack at 100/200 blinds with 40 mins clock and WSOP ME structure

I'm a HEM2 user too - I use it mainly for session management and review. If you want to play and win then yes you should be using software - the hud stats alone when you learn how to use them will save you a bomb/win you a bomb.

Hud's are only useful if you actually understand the the individual stats and how to interpret them.
I've been using HM1 for about 18 months, so ask away. (though HM2 is quite different I believe)
finished about 90th so not good at all, just thought I would share this wtih you though, the game was being repoerted via live web updates
Gary Colclough - Rotty - is berating another player
"I'd love to know your thought process when you called on the flop?!"
Apparently he raised pre with AK, loved the flop of A 2 4, but clearly so did his opponent who called a chunky bet holding pocket threes, obviously forgetting an open ended draw needs to be able to hit at either end to qualify.
Fortune favours the brave, but fate loves the foolhardy and sure enough, he binks his five on the turn to catch his straight. Just to make matters worse, Rotty picks up trip aces on the river but manages to keep his loss to 31K in total.
Ten minutes later and I can still hear him asking why!

I actually hate the fact I can't afford the higher stake tables. The number of times I have been beaten on the river by **** cards on the lower stake tables is beginning to really cheese me off, it's frustrating! Would never happen if it cost them $50 to see my hand
