Now I skimmed over it and the following caught my eye :

Now, if your surname was Bumgardner - would you really call your son Randy?

It doesn't have any double meaning in America, quite a common name, actually its used all over the world as a short nickname for Ronaldo so I think its just the UK where it means something other than a persons name.
