That's just a variation of a prank I knew, where instead of items blocking the door, the door frame was covered side to side with newspaper, so the roommate opens their door and all he sees is newspaper.

The video keeps cutting out at 1:48, I'm sure the prank was about to happen as well? Also there was a girl that kept laughing in the video, was quite distressing to my ears!

Not to be a party pooper, but a prank such as that water in plastic cup prank that involves so much effort for the prankers, kind of defeats the purpose of causing the prankee so much work to rectify.
