Nvidia GeForce 296.10 WHQL

If you look at the third option down theres nothing there...Nvidia say there having some issues with these new drivers lol ! (Been on there web chat support) sen there advised beta and reset option.
The one thing they advised and I didnt do was the reset option on install, normally do just wanted to keep my settings

all i wanted was a quik game on BF3 before Bed and work, now its a full ****ing evening with an instal going.

Same problem as the last lot for me - no Surround Support :

No text for the option (although you can click where the text should be for the option).

You try and apply surround and nothing happens :S

Roll back (again) it is then !

edit Actually it wont roll back (keeps failing) - gonna have to do a cleaninstall with an older version

Great :|

Only really playing Skyrim and BF3 these days and both games run excellent on 295.73 drivers. Skyrim runs at a constant 60fps vsynced with no graphical glitches, not stuttering, loading pauses, etc ... just buttery smooth gameplay. It runs so well on my GTX580, I've decided not to get a 7970 untill I'm done with the game (which seems like it will be quite a long time). So unless these drivers do something magical, I'm not budging.

Just noticed apart from your problem for surround ~TB~ you have no SLI option showing either !
As a side note to those not able to see SLI either if you hold your mouse over where it should be third option down under 3d settings hover your mouse over carefully and you can click it !
This worked to enable SLI for me.
Looks like Nvidia broke the overlay in the GUI this time

On a positive note B3 is running very well with these for me :D shame it can't help with the endless rubbish games im having though !

Works fine here ... as you can see from this screenshot (I don't install the 3D drivers Nvidia provide). I have not had any problems with this driver so far and they seem to have speeded up a lot of the games and made them run a bit nicer. I did do a full uninstall of the previous drivers and when installing I used the custom install option and forced it to do a full clean install with the option at the bottom of the drivers and software list. ( I don't use driver cleaners, just the uninstall options under programs and features in the control panel and then reinstall the drivers after a restart ).

When that happens, restart the system and see if you get the artifacts on the screen while booting.

^^ :D

I haven't got around to trying these out yet as everything's been fine on 295.73 so far, though the tinker in me might eventually decide to install them anyway.

I just had exactly the same looking purple screen that resulted in a hard lock up whilst watching a Youtube 1080p video in fullscreen.

I have never seen a screen like that before the latest drivers.

I am using an MSI Frozr II GTX 560 Ti.

Going to roll back to 295.73
