Hi there

I am a beginner with water cooling so forgive me my ignorance.

Will the below kits fit my case which is the original Antec 1200. By fit I mean the way they would normally be fitted without any modifications needing to be made to the case.

EK-CoolStream RAD XTX 240 or 360

Antec Kúhler H2O 920

Corsair Hydro H100

Thanks

Michael

It's not the best case to watercool tbh (I just done mine) are you just. Wanting. To cool the cpu or you adding anything else to the. Loop?

If your to go custom loop using the ek kit you can fit a 240 in the Front of the case (you may / maynot be able to use the bottom drive bays) or a 240 / 360 externally on the back of the case.

If your looking at a closed loop system then just go for a decent air cooler for. Now! What sort of price you got to play with?

A 240 rad will fit in the front with some small mods and will leave u a tripple HDD cage with fan left at the bottom and also 2x 5.25 bays at the top.

Thanks for the replies.

I am just toying with the idea of water cooling. It is not a must and I would happily stay with a heatsink. Price is not issue. As long as I can literally 'plug & play' without modding anything I might go that way.

Would the Antec Kuhler H20 920 be ok in this case and would it out perform the equivalent priced heatsinks at £85? It seems to be the easiet option and looks like it just fits to the back of the case where the current fans are.

I'd be using it on an Intel Core i5 2500K looking to overclock as much as I can.

Thanks

Michael

The heatsinks would be better

Take a look at the alpenfohn K2

Plantronics also make good heatsinks:

Don't forget if u do go for air cooling the Antec 1200 is not as wide as it seems and some of the bigger heatsinks won't fit if u are using a fan on the side panel.

hi there.

an EK 240 rad will fit on the rear of an antec 1200

I am not sure about the XTX rad but the XT version does without a doubt.
