Tesco Petrol prices in you area pls help

The Tescopoly website - The Tescopoly campaign website [www.tescopoly.org]
provides evidence from a range of public interest groups on the impact of Tesco and
other supermarkets, and how local communities around the UK are fighting back.
Information on various local campaigns around the country is available from the “local campaigns” section of the website.

So what's the latest easyrider?

Have you received a call from Tesco CEO apologising for their disgraceful behaviour?

The first link is a .pdf from 2006 and the second link is an organised (?) "Fight Tesco" campaign site.

None of these are related to your letter from last week, so this doesn't answer Zefan's question

So, still no dialogue with a decision maker at Tesco then?

It just sums the whole thing up. He is linking to an organisation that complains against Tesco using perceived monopoly powers to undercut local organisations which then go bust because he seems to think they support his case that Tesco are bad for... Err.. not undercutting the competition on fuel.

How odd. Can he read?

Tongue in cheek,

you've had some success! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-17378409

Seriously though, what on earth are you complaining about? They'll charge what the market will pay. They said you'd get "supermarket prices" for fuel, they are a supermarket, and that is their price; ergo it is a "supermarket price" as promised.

Find something better to do with your time

Haha just saw that and rushed over to post the link! Damn being beaten to it

You mean to say Tesco ignored your letter? Who'd have thunk it?!

It seems so. 7 days is long enough to reply.

I will go in at the weekend and ask to see the manager in person.

I will then hand him a copy of my letter in person.

There is a Used Car sales Garage next door to the Tesco. I know the owner. I might ask him if I can hang a banner on his wall stating Tesco Prices

ten miles away and that the fuel is cheaper at the Total.
