OcUK MTB MEET GLENTRESS May 12th-13th

Meh, you had to make it bang in the middl of my exam period didn't you :(. After not coming last year, I really hoped to make it this year.

We will have to arrange something in July/August too.
 
Whats your exam about?
The OcUK MTBers are smart fellows, we could have a wee focus group and impart our awesome knowledge onto you.
Getting to ride your bike + top marks in the exam == WIN
 
Speaking to Kieran earlier we might half in for a decent bike at £50 for the day. Shots each of that and his sx trail. I can't wait to be honest as I've not been offroad for what feels like years.
 
right, i maybe able to come along, in discussion with my dad he's going to check his diary to see if he can drop me off.
if i come i'll probably be taking a tent, does you have to pay for pitches?

I'd like a lift? robj20 won't know until closer to the time, so I'd like to try and get a definite lift from somewhere else if possible. :)

Edit: And due to my seriously poor geography skills, I've just checked google maps and realised I'm more south than you. So it doesn't matter, haha. :o

Right im definitly going. Got it sorted with work, got the friday and monday off. I will be camping as well, does the tent spot need booking or just sort that when you get there?

Nice one, cheers :) I'll book it off work now then. (That's easy for me!) I'll also get to finding a tent, because I think my trip to download festival a couple of years ago ended with me using my tent as a giant kite... :eek:

If you get a smallish tent we should get away with one camping spot for us both. Im up for going nice and early on the Friday.

I plan on buying one of those 2 man pop-up tents from Decathlon, so I'd imagine that is small enough.

You should probably book a site in advance, that's what I've done before. I'm sure you can turn up and pay there but it wouldn't be worth risking there not being a site free.
 
Sent them an email about booking a camping spot for two of us. Let you all know what they say.
Now to look at some new bike parts, Reverb i think but what length?
