Cmos battery dead

OK so my pc seems to forget its drive boot order when i first turn it on.. Thought it might be the cmos battery but the overclocking settings are still there, as is the time..

Any ideas?!

Flash the BIOS? this will lose the OC settings so make sure you make a note of them.

Replace the battery anyway?

A CMOS Battery only costs about £2.50 so it worth a try.

Do you have any flash drives or external drives plugged in on boot?
