yeah was a nice win, we got them tonite :( gona be tough without Rose, dont know when he is due back. We did some nice defence at the 76ers the other day tho, and CJ Watson got 20 which is pretty good for a backup PG. with a bit of luck it can be another 50+ rebound game for the Bulls.
 
Rumours that FIsher will end up at the Heat or Thunder.

Would prefer him at the Heat as I don't really rate Chalmers and FIsher has some solid experience behind him. Could be interesting!

He'd still be a back up to Chalmers tho, Hes getting linked with the HEAT and the BULLS if you goes to the East, He wants his 6th Ring and the Magic dont need him, nore the 76ers or New York, Atlanta. Maybe Indiana have a good shot (better the Houston ever had anyway). I recon he will go to the Grizzlies though personaly, there in 5th in the West, Zach Randolph is coming back and the could do with an extra an uprade on there bench Point Guards, but i still think Mike Conley would be the starter.
 
lol, dont know why I was worried, the Bulls destroyed the Magic, held them to 14 points in the 1st, 19 in the 2nd, 15 in the 3rd and 11 in the 4th.

Thats why the Heat need a defence, the Magic did beat us by 5 2 weeks ago and that was when we had a stronger team. Do you think the Heat can finish as number 1 seed this season Newts? I think they could but I dont think they will.

Also the win over the Magic makes Thibbs the fasted coach in NBA history to reach 100 wins, and is now only the 5th coach to have won 100 games with the Bulls, his record now is 100-30 (.769), So hes already breaking Phil Jacksons team records with the Bulls and Avery Johnsons overall record, only by one game but never the less, its his record now!! I think Phil Jackson did it in 142 games and that was with MJ.

They could but I think Thunder will edge it.

The HEat are just a bit of an enigma, can see them stuffing anyone easily on their day but they are equally likely to implode. As you say we need a D, priority over the break regardless of how the season ends needs to be accquiring a big centre they can just park around the rim and let the rest of them getting on with beating up offensively anyone they come up against.

Wish we had Thibbs, or anyone but Spolestra as I really don't rate the bloke.
 
lol, he is one strange player, thats what you get when you dont have much experience on the court tho, the should do great at Denver imo, hes more than capable around 5 blocks a game, which I can see that number going down at 1st, as hes gona be under more pressure in Denver to make better calls, I think he might pick up more robounds so average say 15 and hes a pretty good scorer to be fair so I dont see why he cant pick up a solid 15 to 20 a game still, he just needs more experience around him, hes still pretty young. In Washington he had a bit of an attitude on him but i think George Karl will sort that out, and out of the whole trade where Young goes to the Clipper, Nene and Nene to the Wizards I can see McGee coming out of this the best.

So in my opinion hes just stupid, which is all down to his attitude. Lets hope he doesnt turn into a Tyson Chandler where he doesnt squander his tallent.
 
wow, im shocked, and impressed. Ive just whitnessed the Heat playing some solid defence, there is just under 3 mins to go in the 4th and for the last 5 or 6 mins the heat have gone on a 15 point to 0 run goin from 10 down to 5 up. Grant Hill has been solid for the Suns D all night but Wade has exploded in the middle of the 4th, made an awesome basket with 3 mins to go. Wait, as im writting this LeBron just hid a nice jumper so 17 straight points. So under min left, still not a definate win for the Heat, Suns have been holding the heat well most of the game. Anyway, my point was, nice to see some good defence, lets hope they dont get used to it. LeBron and Grant just colided, LeBron doesnt look too good so far, hes been down a while.
 
Well that was a nice 4th :D

Great comeback and once again the big 3 step up. Good D again which was strange to witness, we could do that every game but it is unsustainable to expect LeBron to be amazing on the O and the D every game. Takes all 5 to chip in for that team to get a solid D and it's too hard to maintain.

Seems LeBron is ok, hope so anyway :p
 
Cool so Fisher did end up going to the Thunder, not sure how much game time he will get but hes got an awesome chance of getting his next ring now. Hes on the bench tonite for the Clippers game, bet hes enjoying that as his 1st game. 1st time hes not been a starter in 5 seasons, think he started every game for the Lakers since he came back to them in 2007.

The Grizzlies did end up making a trade, but it wasnt Fisher like i predicted, it was Arenas, so I guess half my prediction in the signing another guard was right, just the wrong person :D
