I may be wrong but I've never heard of Bushmen hunting lions for food.
If you can kill a lion then there would be loads more around which wouldn't be very safe.
The only time Bushmen or Tribesmen will walk through a pride of lions is when they know they have eaten that day.

Whilst I don't feel I am in a position to criticise their actions, as long as the animals hunted aren't endangered anyway, I don't see the sport in what they are doing.
