does anyone remember Shining Force on Megadrive anything like it out now??

I've never played Shining Force but from the screen shots it looks like a standard JRPG.

With that in mind have a look at Breath of Death VII, Cthulhu Saves the World and Bastion.
 
The Last Remnant is closest you will get and it's a very good jrpg but takes about 4 hours or so to start getting good.Battles are large later on plus difficulty gets pretty tough on some boss fights/rare monsters.

I used to love Shining Force games really hope they remake one in 3D. :p

Many thanks i'll take a look at these, Shining force is turn based, collect and build your team up kinda game,, if that makes sense??

Good news tho, Shining Force is up on Itunes for ipod/pad. Gonna get me it now for gaming on the move :D
 
Shining Force 2 was my favourite game back in the day. I bought the megadrive collection for the ps3 so I could play it again, still awesome. Getting the best mithril weapons was a right pain though.
 
Final Fantasy tactics is the only game that springs to mind that is similar, there are probably more but I can't think of any at the moment
