I would just like to say that I loved the coordinate treasure hunt!

It was really good fun - so thanks Maxi (and who ever else organised it :D)

More of the same please! Maybe an Easter themed one with Spawn Eggs, Chicken Eggs, Chicken, Cake and Coco Beans/ Cookies (and other stuffs too ofc) in the chests? Just an idea

Also if anyone would like to help me and Traffic build the alternative PVP arena you are more than welcome to lend a hand :)

We are building a Urban Warfare/ Battlefield/ COD Arena in the desert - so think Baghdad/ Istanbul/ Basra type city

Small ally ways, alternative routes by jumping from building to building, towers perfect for snipers etc etc...

I should be on this week, otherwise speak to Traffic and he can take you to the area :)

Upcoming Changes - VoxelPort

VoxelPort is basically the only thing holding us back right now. We have an alternative plugin but this will mean that admins need to manually recreate all current VPs.

If you have a donation reward VP please be aware that there may be a short amount of time that you will not have teleportation access.

I'd like to get involved with some of the community stuff, and this sounds good. Can we /tp to it? Also, what materials are needed at the moment? I will hopefully be on this evening.

I should be okay to pop on tonight for an hour and I will make my home public so players can tp there (it isn't at the moment).

We are using Sandstone, light wood (beech?) and planks and smooth stone as well...oh and massive over usage of fences :p

But any buildings or ideas are welcome - I think we need some open areas, like back yards or animal pens, car ports or garages etc at the min. Also could do with some buildings with shop fronts or something?

I just wanted to make a realistic map that was more in line with PVP games that are currently played

...I really need to make that location public now lol :p

Edit: Once the actual arena has been built I will be looking to add the viewing areas. I am thinking of having gang-trees that the viewers can stand or run along so they don't miss the action :)

The small 2v2 arena was based around the similar PVP arenas used in Ultima Online back in the day, its just finding a balance of what works and what doesn't in the terms of Minecraft PVP. I think the 2v2 I had is far too small with the spawn locations causing a few issues :p

For the Counter-Strike fans our PVP plugin might even have a "plant the bomb" mode ;) I'll have to do some testing with that though.

Sounds like a good idea but with our current plugin I'm not sure how feasible it is as we can't make the area private so it will show up in the central warhub which will be at spawn.

Then there is no saying how stable and long this plugin will last with each Minecraft update so there is a risk of losing your personal PVP area which I know 90% of you guys wouldn't mind but I'm sure there would be some issues for people losing stuff they have "paid" for.
