Like an idiot I've lost mine. It's the first time I've ever lost a phone. Not insured either.

Anyway... it's a fantastic phone so I'd like another. Any pointers to the cheapest place would be much appreciated. Thanks :)
 
Add to your shopping list the purchase of Cerberus too. This will stop you from losing track of your phone when you literally lose track of it :p
 
I guess that's some tracking app?

Unfortunately I think I dropped it on the train on the way home :(
 
More than just tracking. You can:

- Track it even if sim cards are changed
- Track what wifi networks it has connected to
- Record audio/video from both cameras
- Track location history
- Get it to ring another number
- Ring it
- Lock it with a message
- Take screenshots

Among other things :p
 
Haha I knew someone would say that. They are going to pee themselves laughing at work when they find out.

I think what happened is that I didn't put it back in my pocket properly after my wife phoned. So when I stood back up to get off the train it probably slid onto the seat. Oh well, the upside is that I'd scratched the screen a few weeks ago so at least I'll get a nice shiny new one.

Actually that's a good point. I forgot you could install remotely from the market. However it has now been reported lost so it's barred and that won't work.

Already clicked the buy button on a new one. Should be here in a few days.
 
I activated Samsung Dive on mine as soon as I got it - tho I'd rather it was possible to select and chose what remote options are available.

Sorry to hear you lost yours I'd be gutted to lose mine even tho I can afford to replace it.

Thanks. I did find it for £429 somewhere but I went for the Amazon one earlier today. I could have done without spending that but it's the one thing I use constantly for so many different things.

479 Euros which is £400. Yes it's cheaper but I guess the delivery charge would eat into that a little and I guess you'd have to return it to Germany if there were a problem.
