Hi, looking to change a few things with my pc, first things first, my pc at the mo.

Xigmatek midgard 1 case.
amd 955 be
asus m4a79xtd evo
4 gig of giel pc3 12800
xigmatek red scopion cooler
xfx 6870
ocz 600w modxtreme
500gb samsung f3

Now what i'm looking at changing is the ram from 4 gig to 8 gig, the case and a new cooler to match the new cases colour scheme plus extra fans.

I like the look of the Fractal Design Define XL because of the seperate bays and it looks like things wont be to squashed together.

So spec me some changes please, budget is around £250.

cheers.

Gaming mainly, so i want a good size case with good airflow, also will there be a difference going from 4 to 8 gig, using win 7 premium 64 bit.

Cpu is running at 3.4 at the mo, but not to bothered about that at the mo because i have no prods running games, just want a new look and some more ram because its so cheap ;)

Looked at that case but it doesn't seem to be any bigger than my xigmatek, i'm after something with more space to work in and has good cable management.

It looks nice but i want something bigger, i also need a new cooler and have been looking at the corsair hydro h60 and h80, are these any better than standard coolers.

Narrowed it down to 3 cases.

1. Corsair Carbide 500R in white.
2. BitFenix Shinobi XL Full Tower.
3. Fractal Design Define XL.

Some Corsair Vengeance Arctic White 8GB ram.

and

The Gelid Tranquillo CPU Cooler.

Thoughts please.

Personaly I like the Shinobi but not really the XL

I would go with the Fractal Design Define XL.

For RAM i would go with the cheap crucial I put in a spec earlier.

For a cooler just go with the A50 it performs better than the Gelid and is cheaper.

I'm swaying more towards the carbide in white thats why I picked the corsair ram to match.

I was going to go for the a50 but read a review which said it runs at full pelt all the time and that put me off.
