Nah, probably the drivel fed to me by my brother's friends when I've been to the pub with them. Most of them would rather not be there because they're bored out of their mind half the time but they accept it.
lol yeah because they had a chance in Birmingham, you bang on about Muslims being pride of the community and supporting British way of live but thats not true, you have your own ideological ways to keep. Mosques sprouting up in cities and town, call for pray, halal meat and this is happened over what? 30-40 years.
They get violent for a good reason, the government dont care, they let all sorts in, notice its all working class at marches, when do you see immigrants being moved into areas MPs live in, does not happen, the working class take so much **** I have seen areas of Bolton and Preston turned into no go areas for white people by immigrants!
I have no problem with people coming Britain and living here as long as you know your place and respect its culture and history but that does not happen. I can trace my family back a 1000 years to this country and it is sad to see what has happened so far in my 28 years living in this country.

Obviously there is a strong presence of diverse ethnicities but what you're saying is laughable. Not once did any of these sub cultures impose on how I chose to live.
Prayer calls? What? Mosques? How is the existence of any place of worship a hindrance to you? Halal meat? Halal meat has been available in this country for longer than you've had birthdays.

Got to agree with all points said in this. The EDL exists due to things being done and said by people who are supposedly british yet openly abuse the country, its inhabitants or armed forces which they are supposedly a part of. If these people didn't exist, neither would the EDL.
I don't think the country will ever be truly multicultural as there are entire cities where one race of people vastly outnumber another. Bradford is a brilliant example of this with the city centre being pretty much devoid of white people. How can multiculturalism happen when we don't mix?
By this I mean there are streets in every single city which are entirely populated by families of a specific race, religion of creed. Going back 15 years ago, Hull (where I live and was born) was mostly white british people, yet now my street has a few polish families, some russians and my girlfriend is bulgarian. We all get along brilliantly as we mix out cultures in harmony and have tolerance for each other, which is what is sorely missing in most cases like this.
You ever heard about the Bosnian War, you can bang on about living in harmony but that is not true, its never worked ever in any country on earth, why do you think countries have unrest, we even riot at something the government tries to implement (poll tax riots) so how do you please so many different religions and people from different cultures, trying to fit in, something has got to give, who gives in and lets their culture go!
Its gone beyond fixing now, the rot is in to set and its only going to get worse with these preachers living in Great Britain.

As someone previously nailed in this thread, you have morons on both sides of the argument. One group is saying he's scum for this, the other is saying he's only there because of his religion.
The reason he's going to court is because our judicial system is starting to wake up to the fact there is a lot of ******** on the internet these days. From trolling of RIP Facebook pages to downright grossly offensive, disgusting messages being posted about people who have died. You have to understand that although these soldiers were soldiers, they also have mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters who loved them dearly and don't want their names being dragged through the mud by some jump started keyboard warrior.
They're all a bunch of morons, and the world would be a better place without the lot.

How do they protect me? Please explain? If anything they cause "extremism" otherwise known as blow-back because of their imperialist foreign policy. We have been invading countries for hundreds of years in the name of "security". When are you going to learn and realise that wars aren't started to protect us. They are fought for strategic influence, energy resources and money. All it takes is a little bit of reading to realise this. War is a big industry. Please look into the military-industrial complex.
This country and the US supported Saddam Hussein while he gassed the Kurds, but when it was convenient for us to invade, our government and media conveniently tried to forget that fact.
The troops are disillusioned working class people. Unfortunately many of them see joining the army as some kind of badge of honour. You know, to "fight for our country". I truly feel sorry for them and their families. Ever wonder why the politicians don't send their own kids to war?
The troops are like pawns. Slaves to the system.
edit: The freedom I have now was not given to me by our armed forces. I am a human being. Born on Planet Earth. How could the armed forces make me more free than that?

To tar all of them as "killers" is entirely unfair on the soldiers and to post it publicly was stupidity personified. Especially when you factor in what these men actually deal with, it's completely parallel to how we live our lives at home.
The EDL reaction, however, certainly didn't make their image any better than it was and the hypocrisy of shouting scum and so on is just stooping to that man's level. Idiots.
