Three and TMobile experiences

3 PAYG is Superb, 15 quid a month gets 300 mins to anyone, 3000 text & unlimited data so tethering my Xoom/tablet is no prob at all.
If I was you I'd get somebody with a 3 moby to pop round to check signal strength etc or just get a 3 PAYG sim & try it yourself.

I ditched three as their [customer] service was really poor and calls had a knack of getting dropped or have poor signal (this is in London).
I have been on Tmob before and then went to Virgin and now back with Tmobile. They have great service (customer and signal) so I'd definitely say Tmob.
I've not had experience with 02 or vodafone so can't compare. I have previously used Orange, Virgin and BT Cellnet. All are rated below Tmob but above three in my rankings.

My T-Mobile contract is up soon so been trying various network providers via their PAYG. I'm in the sticks in N Yorkshire and the fastest data has been Three, then T-Mobile not too far behind. Both O2 and Vodafone were useless for data and Vodafone's voice coverage was at best patchy - which is a bit of a surprise? Or maybe not!
So currently with T-Mobile and it's between them and Three for me. Never had to use customer service much with T-Mobile and would hope it would be the same with Three. Which to go for? I suspect T-Mobile may have better coverage nationally? T-Mobile's data (both on 'H') is not quite as fast as Three though of course does vary a little. On a my phone data is except-able to good with both considering where I live and work.
I'll see what sort of PAYG deal T-Mobile come up with at end of contract. I'm a little shy of Three as their CS gets slagged in the forums - rightly or wrongly? Voice quality is good with T-mobile but Three seemed a little clearer? Had probs with voice disconnections in the past but lately been OK with T-Mob. Not sure which to choose. From pure testing on my phone in my area Three has been the best on my mini test.

T-Mobile have always been pretty good to me. Their 'customer rewards' are pretty lame (to me) though I maybe don't spend enough 
Lot of negative comments regards Three customer support but they must also have a lot of happy customers? I've a spare Android phone so I can trial Three more against T-Mob around my day to day area for the time being. T-Mobile don't have signal in our local coffee house - must try Three in there

That is what would tempt me away from T-Mobile, that and data is faster. My mrs says my voice is clearer too on Three though seems not to have improved anything else of me yet

Also, I've heard good things about giffgaff. A tenner for ultd text and web and 250 mins is good.
I've been with GiffGaff nearly a year, for me been excellent as runs of o2 and o2 in London are fine in most places. Data speeds are fine to. For £10 a month (potentially less with payback) it's hard to beat if you don't need tethering were the One Plan excels in.

Spent last two years on t-mobile and to be honest couldn't wait for the contract to be over. I'm in south east and the call quality just isn't there on t-mobile, it daleks out on me even in West London, data coverage in car is very patchy - oddly enough it was quite good in sticks of Kent, but they have massive 3G coverage holes in London, with voice and data connection very often non existent or breaking east side of Limehouse Tunnel area of Canary Wharf, south side of Blackwall to Blackheath, The Highway/Embankment around Nomura building to name but few encountered by me every day.
I waited til they merge with Orange, but bizarrely things actually got worse with merge instead of being better. Mobile data in my office location got much slower from end of January and something happened to masts in my home location as I began to see less bars on my phone and started experiencing more battery drain when using phone to browse something in the garden from beginning of March. This is all subjective, I realise that, but I am very happy Tesco (O2) customer for several weeks now and most of my daily in car data gripes have literally vanished with move. Even my stand by battery life is better since I moved away from t-mobile.

For the 4s, it's cheaper to get a tmobile contract through the Carphone Warehouse rhan directly (or at least it was for the plans I looked at) drop me a trust message and I'll send you the spreadsheet. Three were cheaper though.
