Does the op need his mpgz? Even though the mpg of the focus isn't great, I would still take it over any of those cars on the op's list.

28mpg with a mixture of absolutely thrashing it, gently cruising on the motorway, fast cruising on the motorway and complete stop start around Birmingham. That was at stage 3 too. I'm willing to guess the ST would barely break 20mpg with the same driving.

Though this is on the cards anyway as i don't fancy putting 22k+ p/y on a decent car. Especially when 14k of them are unpaid work miles. Boooo **** work place!

Because I am a complete idiot. We're told to claim it back through the taxman, we all know how that goes though. All sent off this month, looking forward to getting 1/10th of the figure i should be getting.

We have all been waiting for over a year for the 'meeting' to sort this. Can't be arsed to explain.

Errr? If they wont reimburse you then do not drive for work - it's not up to HMRC to pay for your work mileage!

Shaun I do from Chesterfield to Whitwell to Killamarsh then back over to cresswell then back home 4 times a week. Number 77 for me soon I think
