RAM for 'old' Titan Spirit GT

Hi all

I want to put in another 2Gb of RAM to this 'old' PC - or maybe put in 4Gb of new RAM. Does OcUK currently stock anything suitable for this sort of PC?

Here's what I do know is inside: 2.4 GHz Intel Core Duo E4600, with 2Gb of dual channel Corsair 800MHz RAM (CM2x1024-6400C5DHX, 5-5-5-18). The mobo is a Abit IP35 Pro XE. It has a 650W Corsair PSU. Hope that helps!

But it's quite expensive (relative to the newer DDR3), so you might want to look at some second hand?

Or if you are going to upgrade relatively soon, then keep going with 2GB for now

I'm not sure. Best thing is to set the timings/voltage as is stated on the RAM. However it should work straight away, just not necessarily at its rated speed.

Also, someone will help me on this I hope, but it's best to have a matching pair [say 2x2GB] rather than a mix-match of RAM

Ok. I currently have 2x1Gb sticks and have another 2x1Gb sticks on order. As far as I can tell, what I've ordered is exactly the same as what I've already got in my PC.
