What had you achieved by the age of 26? If you're younger than that, what have you achieved so far?

I had been round the globe a couple of times, i was well educated, two good degrees,,into a permanent professional career, owned my car, was in the process of buying a house, i was maximus decimus meridius, commander of the armies of the north, i had yet to be betrayed.

Graduated. Worked for the fastest growing firm in my field and became the top performer. Had a slight breakdown, took 9 months out, drove around the States. Started my own firm, bought a house and paid off my student loan.

Spent pretty much everything I've earned, can't hold down a relationship

Why would you pay off your student loan? There is no financial sense doing so.

I know, however it got taken from my paycheck through PAYE and I couldn't be bothered to delay it.

Me... Two good degrees, well paid job in an awesome industry, got to travel around a lot... Still have lots of things I want to do though, lots more travel for one!

On the other hand who wants the burden of a house, car and marriage at 26?! You're only young and free once, don't waste it being tied down before your prime. Loads of my friends from school are in this situation and they are so much more boring now.
