Got my seal refresher thing from Tftuned, bloody wrong one, doesnt have the wiper seals and foam things lol oh well, i should have read more carefully its upto 09 forks mine are 10...looks like another 20+ quid is coming tftuneds way next week to get the correct ones :( On a side note, the forks are working smoothly now and thanks to you guys that helped those shims have gone and it appears on the face of things the clicking may have gone.

lol, this happens a lot! If you haven't used them though you may be able to just send them back and pay the postage for the correct ones?

Happened today with a guy who bought the wrong size spring.

Give them a ring tomorrow and ask someone in the office.

Glad your clicking is gone though!

That's the idea. P!ss easy track, that can be ridden by anyone, in the wet, but fast guys can hammer it and link/double/gap sections.

The track builder spends all of his summers out in whistler, working as a MTB guide and has qualified in the Chatel MOuntain style contest before, so the lad knows what he's doing.

I've posted one of his vids before .... silly talented git

tooo many spacers

tooo much stem

tooo much chain

and you could pick up stem cheap as chips and you dont need to take anything off to change a stem , especially levers.......

Ahh yeh me just be being a little thick about taking the stem off.

Spacers where with the old bike so just put them on this un, if i took them out i'd need to cut the suspension again which i might do when i have some spare time. How many would i need to take out? What benefit would i get?

The chain should be fine, its not on the cogs in the picture just hanging down until i get the new front mech then will put it back on and remove a link if needed.

Whatever works for you. :) But please get some bar end caps.

Otherwise it looks good.

PS..want to buy a front mech? :p

I have one bar end cap, the other got mangled through to much resting the bike on the wall and went into the bar a little so i took it out, will be grabbing one before i go on my next ride, don't fancy going to A+E with a handle bar stuck in me!

Bought a front mech last night actually, 2nd hand xt one posted next day before 1pm for £11 so will be here when i get in tomorrow.

Guy at work brought his POC Trabec into work for me to try on, and it didn't fit, so I've tried about 15 different helmets.. and only the 661 Recon has fitted so far. :(

went onto shimanos site and looked at every deore and XT front mech and tried the cabling the way suggested and it just didnt work.

please for the love of god just take that to a bike shop and get them to finish it for you, if you couldnt get the gears working with a normal length of cable then you dont know what your doing so take it to someone who does!

The cable should just be coming from the top and getting bolted up rather than being wound round the plastic part.

For your own benefit and enjoyment I'd take it to a shop to get the finishing touches.

I see bikes like this all too much.
