Gadgets from the US... worth it?

The vizio android tablet is good, its also $199 from walmart. The wife has a Kindle fire and its very good. The first batch had a few issues with the touch screen becoming unresponsive, but amazon support was excellent and they sent her a new one within 2 days.

Eswing hammers are cheap over here too, got mine for $19 for a 20 ounce. Full heavy grade leather tool belt for about $20 too. In fact i bought a few hand tools when i was over here and took them back to the UK. Obviously if your not a woodworker etc then tools won't be of interest :)

Do you know if it can be had online for that price?

Would defo order one, thats like 125 notes!

Also check the Nook Tablet, over the Kindle Fire.

Has a micro SD slot, which I like and it has 1GB of ram.

You can get it in Best Buy / B&N or Walmart.

I'd go for something you can't buy over here like the Kindle Fire. Most gadgets bought in shops don't work out much cheaper than ordering online in the UK, and carry much bigger risk in warranty terms.

You could be a very rich man if you flog them on ebay. they go for something silly like £6 a box.

I know, problem being people started posting them back to the UK.

So we've been banned from sending them back. I know some guys have sent over a 100 little boxes though which go for 5-6quid on ebay for a tiny single box!

Just made themselves an easy 500quid!
