Worms Revolution - Thread

Team17 announced the latest in the long running series (17 years!) of Worms games today. Check out the announcement video and some details on the game.

Worms Revolutionwill launch on PC and consoles Q3 this year. The game has been developed from scratch with a brand new game engine. New features and challenges are expected in the game, while old favourites such as the Super Sheep and Holy Hand Grenade will be back to terrorise those poor invertebrates.

Other than the very debatable physics changes, what else about the game needs modifying? :confused:

I hope they do not have the four worm limit that was in Reloaded and even fewer weapons.

I've got Worms Reloaded on my PC. The 3D games were crappy anyways

Every Worms game they've released since Worms World Party has felt like a backwards step.
The 3D ones don't even deserve a mention.
The Xbox Live one was decent but it felt lacking.

Worms 2/Armageddon or World Party are all better games still!
Just re-release these but allow them to support modern resolutions. I'd buy.

It has different physics, less weapons and a limit of four worms per team, not to mention the campaign is terrible in comparison. There is less ability to customise your game and weapons. It is most certainly a step backwards.

They've remade the same game about 13 times.

It's not going to sell, no one wants this anymore.

I would actually love them to re-release an older Worms game, with exactly the same gameplay/physics.
Just update the graphics to support high res monitors.

Would be far more interesting than "present-day war shooter 60000" or whatever the most recent one of these games is called...

Meh a new engine yeah right. Same one they did for reloaded. Nothing in that vid that isnt in reloaded except super sheep which is nice to see but why they couldnt stick that in reloaded in a patch i dunno. Oh wait yeah for money. Greedy ....

Wish they just listen to the community and do a HD version of armageddon with roping exactly like armageddon and support for shoppa mode.

I'm sorry but Worms & Worms 2 were the only ones worth playing sfaic. Worms mainly due to the accents! & Worms 2 because it was the same as worms only prettier the rest were **** especailly the 3D ones!

I really used to enjoy a good worms session, but i am not going to watch the trailer.
