I just bought PC-6B case.

The F_Panel has a USB 3.0

As the MB I am using at present only has USB 2.0, Lian Li include a USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 converter.

The USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 converter has two sockets one (USB 2.0) fits to the MB and can only be fitted one way. The other (USB 3.0) fits to the blue F_Panel USB 3.0 lead.

The problem is there are no markings to show which way round it should go and it fits both ways.

Will I damage the socket it I choose the wrong way?

Any advice appreciate.

One coner of the usb 3 plug will have a blocked pin.
On the converter one corner will have a pin missing.

Yes that is how it should be, but it is not.

On the converter one corner has a pin missing, but on the blue USB 3 plug there is no blocked pin socket, so there is no way of knowing which way round it should go.
Plus the LianLi manual as always is at best basic so it is no help.

I was hoping someone else who has a Lian-Li has come across this problem also.
