My friends computer wont start...

I'm speaking to him on Skype atm he's on his phone.

When he turns on his pc (Presses the power button) the pc is powered for about 15 second before randomly restarting. There is no monitor input.

This has happened just after he added more RAM. But the problem now continues too consist even after taking the new ram out.

He thinks it might be something to do with he's BIOS.

Thanks in advance.

its a small plastic clip that bridges pins on the mobo. You should be able to see CMOS reset printed on the mobo under the pins. Popping the battery out has the same effect

Ok, ty. yeah I'm making him just pop out the battery. Also how do you make that writting appear below your post. Like some people have they're pc specs and stuff.

Cmos reset should fix this I guess :)

And they are called Signatures. At the top: User CP > Edit Signature (on the left, abit down

It's your signature, have a look at the FAQ to see what's allowed and under quick links you'll find one to edit signature.

He says he cant see it. Though now he is saying he has tried to get the battery out but when pushing the thing it didn't do anything and he decided to use a piece or plastic which is he said he as now Wedged in-between the PCI and heat sink =S
