Do you know how these things started Cheets? However Galloway is a idiot, and people that voted for him are also idiots, that said, his direct competition was a Pakistani Muslim (the labour candidate), so Galloway must have done something right.

- All asians in Bradford are Muslims
- George Galloways 52% landslide victory happened because he spoke in a few mosques and gave out leaflets to a minority number of a minority population?
Seems like the typical OCUK 'send them back' brigade is at full arms today becase an idiot of a politician won the vote in Bradford.
I live in Bradford, I'm a non religious Asian person (wow, so hard to believe that they, or even non Muslim asians actually exist right?), and I didn't vote.
But if I did vote, who would I have voted for? Whoever I believed would actually make some kind of attempt to fix the crater in the city centre, and just about every business in the city going bankrupt which is the current direction Bradford is heading towards

They have been in power for a long time here now, and the last thing I heard is that the Bradford council also wanted to tear down the Alhambra theatre while labour had the seat, so no I'm not voting for them. I really don't think that the conservatives or the lib dems would give a crap either, neither seem concerned in the slightest bit about Bradford.
If I wanted to vote on which party I prefered for their policies, Id be voting green or Ukip, but when they can't even get 5% of the vote between them, I would just be wasting my time or effort.
That would have left my options as either:
George Galloway as a protest vote
Or the mad loony party.
Id have voted for the mad loony party.

well tbf in 2001 white people only made up 69% of the population of Bradford and that's only counting the legal people.
and with roughly 26% being asian (that'll behigher now) then yes if they all voted they'd make up half the voters, given only 50% of people turned up.
So blame the 50% that didn't vote then rather than people doing what they have a right to do.
I'm not blaming anyone, i don't care who won.

False dilemma, I don't want either loony versions of the social authoritarian economic left anywhere near power thanks.

If Mandy Mandelson was to put himself up for election in a similar fashion to George who would voter for him - now Mand just lives for others and is idealism poysonified he really is all art and there aint no hach in that! All a question of alternatives
