Hi there,

Im not really sure what to get my girlfriend for her 30th. Any ideas from anyone will be greatly appreciated.
I'm not really sure how much is enough to spend I guess is the main problem.
I live in Clydebank, glasgow. So any fancy restaurants you'd recommend are welcome, I know a few myself, but some recommendations won't go a miss.

We go on holiday the Saturday after her birthday (Thursday), so I don't think she would be bothered about a weekend away.

Cheers
Scott

Get her a 40th birthday card (with badge) just for the chuckles.

Always enjoyed the all you can eat chinese in glasow opposite where hsbc used to be. Prolly not posh enough for what you are after tho.

Happy birthday grandma card with the number 80 on it, a tub of anti wrinkle cream, and a bottle of hair dye.

Oh, don't forget a leather mask with a message written on a note - 'I thought you should wear this in bed so I can feel turned on like I used to when you were younger xXx'.

Can second Mother India, charing cross je? Good grub there.

Edit: Used to live at 'The Angel' if you know it, church converted into flats, it's pretty close by.

Buy her a fur coat and a vibrator and if/when she says she doesn't like the fur coat tell her to go fornicate oneself :p

Seriously though spend some time thinking of all the things she likes write them down if needs be, then try to think of something that fits in amongst them as much as possible. Also try to make it something that only you could give her, is there something that she has only told you? Quite probably I would imagine so use that information to think "outside of the box".

Shish Mahal rather than Mother India is my preference, but you can't really go wrong with either.

I haven't the faintest idea for a present though.

Not a bad shout, Dhabba is better now than Mothers though, last few times ive been at the Mothers its been decent but surpassed by the Dhabba.

Trade in for a newer model?

In all fairness I took my missus out for a nice meal, and spent the evening in a nice hotel room.
