Anyone interested in Curborough Sprint Circuit Friday March 30th?

Not really a track for a bike as it's to tight and doesn't flow to allow a biker to properly get their knee down, but full marks for going out and having a go anyway. Shame that, nice lad and a nice bike.

Oh dear, shame to see that happen to the bike :( Same place the Mini spun, up the hill?

It's a nice little track, I'll be up for a go next time round especially since a bit of drifto seems acceptable :p

Yeah same place, it caught me out last year too. The track specifically state that the track is not to be used for drifting. But if you get a bit sideways when going for it it's fine :)

Just watched the video in car with your dad on bookface, looks like a fun little track. I thought a man of his age would have grown out of using the hand brake :p

He's a nutter! :D

Thanks, just get This content is currently unavailable when I click on the link :(

Brakes took a battering, takes some stopping on that straight and I was trying to be late on the brakes as much as I could.

It did very well! You got a few slides out of it too hehe! I did get some videos too which I will put up later. The pics are taking long enough. But now I know which links to copy I will put them all up :)

Andy (Black MINI) took these of you:

Yea first run I didn't as I didn't fully off the traction settings, second time I did and nearly spun it when I thought I had it straight and didn't. Not the car for Curborough and didn't want to go too hard in it as it's still new and pretty. I seem to recall damaging 3 wheels on my RS4 about 5 weeks after I bought it trying to drift it with Elliot at Oulton.

I think people under estimate how tough a little track it is. Still.. great fun! The guy with the MX5 had winter tyres on there, he had some brilliant moments :D

I should have bought my wife's MX5 really, but I was dead to the world at 7am when she left for work having spent most of the night ill. I was feeling crap all morning which is partly why I left at noon. Got home and went to bed.
