USA Road Trip - Reccomendations

Those of us going do like a bit of history/culture - this is not a trip to get drunk in every state - we are all 27-29 so those days are well behind us!!

I am personally looking forward to the Ball game! :D

Looks a great trip! Id spend an extra day in Vegas and a day less in LA though. Id love to do a similar length of trip at some point in my life, 2 weeks was great, a month would be amazing. We need pics of the 72 oz steak!

I've been Vegas twice in the last 5 years both for 2 weeks at a time, and one of the guys spent 10 week in Flagstaff working with regular visits to Vegas so we've seen a lot of it; mood might change when we are there of course - but the 2/3 days should be enough! :)

Still a bit nervous about the first drive, but I'm going to man up!!

awsome thread, was planning the similar trip to the states with my mates, probably end of June.

Saving thread.... to check it in future for refs.

I was terrified before going last year, really worried about the driving but it was a total breeze, even easier than driving here, I only had one hairy moment where I moved left on the road into Reno and nearly wiped out two hairy bikers.

*makes notes*

avoid hairy bikers!

I'd never come back with a wife, I would stay there; would love to live in the US of A

That feeling of wanting to live there depends on where exactly and how long you've spent there. Believe me, it's not the utopia a lot of people think it is. Great to visit though and their weather is awesome!

That's true; I've been mostly Touristy places:

Vegas - 4 weeks
New York - 4 Days
Miami - 4 weeks (with friends Parents who live there)
Orlando - 4 weeks
Atlanta - 1 day lol

My friends Parents live in Ft Lauderdale soon to be moving to Ohio and i will visit them later in the year; I do love it out there though; just fits my lifestyle (fat and lazy! :))
