Just finished watching this. I'd hoped it would be a celebration of Group B but it came across as much more of a hatchet job

Yeah, it was more of a 'Oh my God, how did they let this happen' kind of documentary.

And it was yet another documentary showing what an utter **** Balestre was.

Didn't know Vatanen was in such a bad smash. Would have been great to see the Group B stuff in the flesh. I was born too late.

Just watching this now. One of the opening comments was "It was that fastest rallying there will ever be".

Hasn't pretty much every Group B stage time been beaten by modern cars?

Yeah I seem to recall hearing that even in the 90's Group A cars were already setting faster times due to improvements in tyre technology.
