Spec me a Martial Art please

So to summarise the thread: try out lots of different martial arts and see what you like. No single martial art is the best.

Got it in one, espically as th OP doesn't know what he wants.
Try one til it does what you like!
I personally liked the burn of a hard pad session at thai, my mate prefers caporia, relaxed feel (not saying its not hard work but feels relaxed and chilled).

People are getting confused between Ju Jitsu and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. They are 2 very different Martial Arts.

They are, Ju Jitsu (aka Jujutsu) is a Japanese martial art featuring striking with grappling, Jiu Jitsu (with an 'i') is a Brazilian Martial Art focussed more on grappling and ground combat.

Japanese Ju Jitsu also has a lot of throws too, well the type that I did was as so, loads of throws and self defense stuff. Whilst I can see how hand the throws can be, I was in it more for the ground work so I think I will try BJJ next.

Ju-Jitsu guys tend to win grapples, and since most fights end in grapples, Ju-Jitsu guys tend to win lots of fights. This is when their opponent doesn't know Aikido, which is the superior martial art. Depending on the level that the individuals have attained, obviously.

Troll

Aikido is practically dancing.

It really is a fantastic Martial Art, well it's more of a sport nowadays. The best thing about it is you will spar almost every lesson where as you won't in most traditional martial arts.
