Freakish weather.(its not)

It's pretty odd that the temperature has dropped 20 degrees in a matter of days. The good weather (25 C) in March was freakish.

i've seen snow all the way up to june before, its not common, but neither is 20 degrees in march, most years it gets "comfortable" around end of feb/march, i have noticed it since my early teens, when i started mountain biking, then gets more changable towards april, with a bit of snow/cold spells thrown in for the mix.

its far from freakish, its normal changable british weather.

Current weather is not freakish! its normal why do the media bang on about freakish weather is perfectly normal to snow in April, as a kid I can remember snow appearing right up into June.

Guess they got to keep the CC/AGW bs agenda going to keep themselves in poxy jobs.

do you think its an issue?

Do you remember last the last time it was 23degrees at the end of March and then freezing the week after?

Yup, changeable British weather has always been freakish. You never know what the next day brings.

In short, is our weather so dramatic because we're an island right next to the atlantic?

No it's because people are driving around more, dumping harmful chemicals and burning a big ass hole in the ozone layer.

On a serious note, being on an island will no doubt contribute to the wet and windy conditions we have throughout the year.

Epic freak weather is epic. I get home yesterday after work (my face getting epically slapped by hail) to find our fence with next door had been blown down. Good thing the house was bought by my housemate's parents. They can foot the bill :p

But in all seriousness, a week ago my housemate has an epic BBQ and yesterday, epic rain and wind for pretty much all day and night. Today it's sunny with clouds but still windy.

So yeah, freakish it is indeed. And all this was in Newcastle/Gateshead. Sure it will go down south but across the east coast from what I have been hearing. Other places will get hit too. So just brace yourself people.

Went out on my bike in the wind/snow last night. Was a fun experience till my hands started turning blue and I nearly go blown off multiple times.

In the early 2000's I was on a course in Luton. One week we were standing out in the sun at break time, t shirts on. The next week we had some heavy snow and the temps plummeted.

I can't remember other than that. I wish it would settle down I want to get my veggies in :D
