So what type of holiday/flexi time person are you?

So you have 5 days left to take so do you:

1) Prefer a full week off?
2) Prefer Friday's?
3) Prefer Monday's
4) Prefer Friday & Monday to make a long weekend?
5) Prefer another day of the week

You have a flexi-time arrangement in your workplace so do you:

1) Prefer to go home early a couple of days a week
2) Prefer to go home much earlier 1 day a week
3) Prefer to come in late a couple of days a week
4) Prefer to come in later 1 day a week?
5) Any other method?

Personally I always have Wednesdays off and like to come in late on a Friday (Thursday today because we're on holiday tomorrow).
 
If I had five holiday days left, I would use them to have an extended weekend :)

If possible, you could take advantage of the bank holidays we are having this year? Unless you have to use them up before the end of the month?
 
went through a spell where I booked every Monday off, did this for about 5 weeks then wanted to keep the rest of my leave. The 4 day weeks and extended weekends make all the difference. :D
 
due to my shifts ,taking 4 days gives me 2 weeks hols ,im in cornwall now for 2 wks so i tend to take full blocks not odd days ,got another 6 weeks down here to come in next 4 mnts or so
 
Depending on our plans for the year, probably take 2-3 full weeks off at different times for going away on proper "holiday".

The rest of our time we generally use days to extend long weekends so take Friday and Monday off. Do this a few times over the course of a few months and I find it really breaks up time at work!
 
Prefer at least 1 two week holiday
Then 2x 1 week breaks.
Then half a dozen or so long weekends spread out throughout the year.

That's what I've done for the past few years. :)

This year I'll only have about 3x 1 week breaks, and about half a dozen long weekends - but they're spread out over the year so it's not too bad. :)
 
I preferred Fri & Mon off to give a 3 day working week and 4 day w/e.

But since I'm mainly self employed nowadays, there is no distinction between weekdays and weekends for working.
 
If I'm adding leave to a weekend then I'll normally take Thursday and Friday off rather than Friday and Monday.

Flexitime ... I come in early and leave early ... something I'm having to educate my new manager on (along with quite a few of my contractual terms which are different to his).
 
So far this year Ive taken 1 days holiday and im really feeling the need for this weekend at the moment!

Next holiday I have booked is over the jubilee period so I only use 3 days holiday but get 9 days off.

Trying to save the holiday for later in the year as I always flag around that time! But will probably take 3 separate weeks off over 3 months end of july-november
 
If I have to take a day off randomly I take Wednesdays off. So 2 days in, 1 day off, 2 days in and 2 days off.

I'm currently collecting all my time in lieu to a) see how much overtime I've missed out on and also to see if they will let me take off a massive holiday combined with my AL (currently on 37 days + bank holidays.)
