What to buy, Skyrim or Mass Effect 3?

If you want to complete the Mass Effect story arc then ME3 is worth getting although the ending seems to have been made to save time IMHO. Zavvi have the game for £14.95 and I suspect it will start to drop in price even more over the next few months. There is also a launch DLC which might be worth getting too so I would also consider the cost of this too.

As a game on its own I suspect Skyrim will be better.

Skyrim, due to some of the fantastic mods its a game that never stops evolving and throwing up constant surprises, best game ive ever played:)

Skyrim by a mile. If you don't mind the medievil / fantasy setting, it'll suck you right in.

And this is from someone who much prefers guns & sci-fi over wands, capes, the odd sledgehammer & wizards.

Play ME3 once EA 'tweak' the ending in the summer with their free dlc.

I'm sensing 'Skyrim', but I'm not sure given the comments ;)

lol. Skyrim it is. Thank you dear chaps. Some of the comments about ME3 were rather amusing :D

EDIT: Skyrim has now been ordered. I'll get ME3 next month ... maybe. I don't put much stock in EA 'fixing' anything however.

Hopefully it will look as pretty as in the high res screen shot thread (but guessing those shots are with mods).

Don't be too put off by the anti-EA vibe, ME3 is definitely worth a purchase, the ending/s are a bit of a letdown but 90% of what comes before is very good indeed and if you enjoyed the first two then certainly worth getting. If you haven't played the first two then pick them up first as whilst Bioware exaggerated the repercussions a bit, you certainly get more from the experience if you played ME1&2 before launching into 3.

Definitely get Skyrim first though :)

You can still get Skyrim without paying for it. Just sayyyinggg....

Popular Single Player games = Easiest to get for free.

Get both of them for nothing.

Or if you're a decent person... you should buy Skyrim in my opinion.
