Courier Deliveries on today?

Hi all,

Waiting on an item and don't know whether to go out shopping now or stay in and wait for what may never come today... are there courier deliveries today?

Latest tracking status :

In Transit (LOUGHBOROUGH SERVICE CENTRE) 6th Apr 2012 06:00

I take it it will come tomorrow if there's no service today but had to question it with it saying "in transit"

Yep if you ordered wednesday or before then you should get it. Depends on your estimated delivery. If it's the last day of your estimate than you're more than likely to get it tomorrow.

When did you order and what is your estimated delivery time?

Edit: In transit doesn't mean anything btw, should say "out for delivery" or "on the van" when it's on the way to you. In transit means it's between warehouses or waiting to go on the van from the depot. Usually anyway.

It's not from OCUK or any other Computer parts retailer, they are a pair of glasses :)

Didn't have an option to pick a day or anything.

Ordered on Wednesday.
 
Depends on the firm, royal mail tend to deliver on a Saturday but will only guarantee it if you pay more - most courier firms won't at all unless you pay more.
 
Then yes you should get them tomorrow as they are delivering. Sadly if not it'll be tuesday. :(

I'm in the same predicament, waiting for a parcel tomorrow that I ordered yesterday and would have been here today. I paid for the extra delivery though so I might be lucky.
 
why does it costs a fair amount more for a saturday delivery anyway?, the delivery guys on double time or somthing for working on a saturday?
I can only see that as being the cost as nothing else i can think of changes from a friday to a saturday delivery.

Same reason it costs more for a 9am delivery. It's a premium service, outside the norm - so you pay a premium for it.
 
Was hoping to see my delivery today, the tracking info was mis-leading :(

Looks like they got the vehicle ready probably for Tuesday delivery, unless you paid extra for a Sat delivery.
