Best orientation for roof fans??

The needlessly elaborate diagram below shows my config, except the two roof fans aren't in it at the moment - but as I have couple of the Xigmatek 140mm fans spare, I figured I'd put them in there.

So question is, would they be best pulling air out of the case, or pulling it in??

Any input appreciated.

Your H50 would benefit from pulling cool air in from the back and having the roof fans expelling the warm air from your radiator. I noticed a 3 degree drop in load temps using this method with my 620. If your gfx card vents to the rear of the case, it may be worth checking how much heat it kicks out first though.

Edit
Just seen you're running phantoms. They dont vent as much heat as the standard coolers. The roof fans should get rid of your SLI heat. Also, is there a 120mm fan mount at the bottom of you case? If so, the phantoms do benefit from air blowing from underneath due to their heatsink design.

same as Orwolf, have the rear fan blowing cool air into the H-50, so reverse the air flow in your pic for the cooler imo.
have the two roof fans, exhausting hot air.

Interesting that there is support for the H50 to be pulling air in from outside the case. I know thats how Corsair always suggest it should be done, but I thought there were very few people who agreed with it. But I've always had it exhausting, so am happy to give it a go - cooler temps is what I want after all!

As for a fan mount at the bottom of the case - no there isn't. But I have a spot fan blowing air between the PSU and the bottom card, so there is cool air getting directly to it.

I have an H70 Core arriving Tuesday, so will be swapping out the H50 for that, and will orientate for pulling cool air in and see how it goes. Plus will put the 140's in the roof exhausing out.

Cheers for the advice.
