I got rid of my G9 for a G500, not regretted it at all.

Just to throw the idea out there:

When I upgraded I managed to get a nearly new Logitech G9X from a well-known-auction-site for £25, came boxed with weights etc.

Great mouse & pleased with the quality.

have a G500 myself, excellent mouse, highly reccomended just need to get a new keyboard aswell now.

Switched from G500 to the G700 and then the G9X. Had the G500 for over two years and then the G700, the G700 didn't feel right to me so switched the to G9X.

The best of the three is the G9X by far, it feels amazing and while I agree the G500 is great. The G9X is the better mouse in my opinion.
