It was a very poor decision though.

70 mins of a completely one sided game and it being a case of how many goals United can get, it's game over as a competition.
It just so infuriating, I mean, you get teams playing decent going to top teams and getting nothing but when the big teams go to smaller teams ground they still get the rub of the green, not expecting anything other than a loss on Wednesday when Man Utd go to the DW.
Like you lot just go, oh well it happens, but if that was QPR and they had a pen and a Man Utd had a man sent off you lot would be going mad, saying its cost you the title etc.

no bungs, refs just don't have the bottle to go against 76,000 fans. If that happened at the other end nothing would have been given, as happened last week when murphy went down 90th minute for fulham when it was a clear pen.
I think the refereeing standard is poor all round, it just gets highlighted a lot more when it happens at the big teams and in the big games.
There's certainly no conspiracy at play here, but I'm sure the environment could affect some referees, in which case they shouldn't be refereeing.
Anyone else get the impression that Alan Smith can't be bothered with the rest of the game now? ...his tone has completely changed.
I am so bored atm, I was really looking forward to this game, I thought QPR might put up a bit of a fight

Typical, QPR play out their skins and beat us, then play United and get robbed straight away.

He's a terribly boring commentator anyways.
Not sure why anyone is surprised by what happened.
Rafael needs to calm down, it's great to see the effort being put in biut he also needs to stay level headed.
Decision for the penalty was a poor one but the whole "big teams get the decisions" talk is just a stupid cliché as poor/wrong decisions have been made in games where two mid to low teams are playing each other and Sunderland's winner against Man City was offside I believe; top clubs don't always get the decisions.
The only thing that can be taken as fact is the level of officiating is poor and needs to improve.

Not saying anything about any incident in particular, but it always surprises me when people refuse to entertain that there could be corruption in football, how is it far fetched when we know they type of men who are running and ruining the game. The least trustworthy and most greedy men imaginable.

Because he knows QPR stand no chance now, the only people who can enjoy this game now is Man UTD fans.
