Does anyone know of a good iPhone cradle that is also a charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter?

Another vote for Brodit, although I have the basic non-active one and just plug the regular iPhone USB cable in to a powermonkey that sits permanently in my lighter socket if I'm travelling a long enough distance to require power.

+1 for Brodit, I use a Brodit holder and a Brodit Proclip to mount on the air vent to the car. I have a griffin mini charge and a standard cable to connect it all up

Thanks for the suggestions, perhaps I phrased it poorly, I was looking for a cradle that plugged into the cigarette lighter and charged.

I got a griffin road trip for my old fiesta st because there was no aux port.

As with all fm transmitters it was a sack of fail and got sent back.

Due to its high price I couldn't suggest it even though the charging port and flexi arm thing worked ok.

That's pretty much what I am looking for minus the fm transmitter.

Well, the fm transmitter didn't work :p

It's a lot of money for a charger/cradle though.

I've got an iTrip already which works but the sound quality isn't great.

How much did you pay? I'm seeing the old one for around £30 and the bluetooth one for £60.

Jabra Cruiser is by far the best FM transmitter I've come across, Bluetooth connection to your phone, FM to the radio, no cables at all (apart from charging it every few weeks.

On a roadtrip I just hook up the iPad and stream spotify or movies.

Strongest fm transmitter too, no hiss, had to change frequency about twice driving to France.
