I've tested the following fans on a H100 to see which on performs best,

Corsair Fans included with the H100
Noctua NF-F12
Silverstone Air Penetrator AP121
Cooler Master SickleFlow 120
Phobya Nano-2G
Bitfenix Spectre Pro LED
Fractal Design FD-FAN-120
Scythe SY1225SL12SH

It was my first video for YouTube so go easy on me:

I plan on doing further tests with additional fans so please let me know if there's any you'd like me to do

:)

Can't wait to see it, thanks!!

I saw this in youtube, this guy tests the H100 with the Noctua NF-F12's using a push pull config.

VERY NICE VIDEO !!

Thanks everyone. I'm looking to do a push-pull fan comparison in the upcoming months with more fans and a greater overclock. Probably on a thicker rad though as it seems kinda lost on the H100 with some fans costing almost £20 each.

Some good testing in that video and I was pretty impressed by the Sickleflows as well. Xbits did a review of them a while ago and came to the same conclusion regarding those fans, especially when you compare it to the more expensive Noctua alternatives.

Yeah great video.....makes me want to change the OEM fans on my H70.

Oh and dont take this the wrong way, but you dont look like the sort of person I'd associate with being fixated on fan perfomance on CPU overclocks : )

I'm offended, you must now apologise by subscribing :p

Only joking... It started out a few years back as more of a curiosity, now I love building PCs and benching them and would love for it to be a bigger part of my life.

Thanks for the feedback :)

Ha ha sure I'll sub...

Nothing wrong with it at all....get enough subs and you can get the manufacturers to send you feee kit to test, as its free advertising to them.

Have you tried contacting any manufacturers for samples btw? I'm pretty sure they'd be willing to send stuff if they'll be getting exposure. I see plenty of people getting samples for simple unboxing videos but since your videos are actually informative and brilliant at that, I doubt they'd refuse.

I think I need more subscribers and lot more views and a few more videos before I'll offer manufacturers enough exposure to send me samples but I will start contacting them soon

Thanks for the subs :)

So why is it called TastyPC? ;)

I liked the video though, but as one of the comments on youtube said, it could do with being a bit louder. Also a little slower wouldn't hurt.
A summary screen with all the results on (or even just putting that in the description/info section) would have been nice.

I liked the video though and would be interested in watching ones where you review other hardware too (obviously while you have to pay for it yourself that will be limited somewhat, unless you're loaded).

I think it was very good for a first video and imagine that if you do make more and get more comfortable with it then they could be really good.

Summary Screen
Bit Louder
Very good! Good video structure and quality...much more helpful than most other videos.
I don't think it's much to fast paced. Gives us the info we need without being dragged out too much...I like that.

Some good fan choices... GT's would have been a good shout though!

That attractive and a pc enthuiast ? ......:p Mind is blown

I predict many many many views.

EDIT: on a constructive criticism note;
I agree with the above, play with a few microphone configurations, maybe speak louder but not have the mic so close to eliminate some of the additional breath noises (Not breath but the air noises when pronouncing... know what i mean?)
Also the summery screen.

One thing i did pick up, should make your life somewhat easier is maybe refer to the fans by their manufacturer, and put an on screen annotation (Edited in not Youtube annotation) of the full name?
Something like "Next we have some Scythe fans" while the screen shows the full "Scythe SY1225SL12SH" so people have the full information?

Just the one thing i thought of.

Overall a good video, soooo subbing.

EDIT2: Your morals depending, if you wanted to supercharge views / subs, which will allow you to get sample products / do more videos etc etc, think about changing the icon on the youtube video to yourself in front of the tech you're reviewing/benching.

I don't know about the name, it just sort of popped into my head.

I will definitively be doing a summary screen next time.

Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the feedback, I initially wanted the videos short so I didn't bore anyone. ^_^

Tiny Tom is my YouTube go guide for everything PC.

Didn't realise how loud the stock H100 fans were though..glad i swapped mine for Noctua's :L

I like TTL too, I've been watching him for years (since his shed days). I don't see him as competition, more an inspiration.

I've always wanted to be able to do the same job as him I've just never had the courage to give it a go, until now.

Not high pitched, but kinda posh sounding - Uni lass?

The fractal sounded quite quiet

No, it's my nervous interview voice, but it'll go when I get used to being on camera.

Under "About Me" for "TastyPC"

"Favourite Sport
football"

Guys, don't mess with her.. hit the subscribe button :D

LOL! :)

I predict many many many views.

Thanks for the feedback, I will try to do everything you mentioned in the next video. However the little thumbnail (icon) couldn't of been me as the 3 random pictures YouTube makes you choose from only included a really scary picture of me, so I went with the fan instead.
