Eyefinity question

Hi all,

So I'm liking the look of those Samsung S23A700D's that are on offer, and considering picking up 3 for Eyefinity, but I have a few questions about Eyefinity and my graphics cards.

I have a pair of MSI Twin Frozr III 6950's, from what I can see they have 2 mini displayports, 1 dual link DVI, one single link DVI and a hdmi port. The monitors have a DVI-d and hdmi port. What cables do I need to make eyefinity work on those monitors?

If you want 120Hz on 3 monitors it's going to cost.

The dual link DVI from the graphics card will run 1 monitor at 120Hz.

The single link DVI and the HDMI won't.

To run the other 2 monitors at 120Hz you'll need 2 of these:

Startech Mini DisplayPort to DVI Dual-Link Active Adapter – USB Powered £74.99

If you don't want 120Hz then two monitors can be connected via DVI and the third by an active miniDP to DVI adapter:

HIS Active Mini DisplayPort to Single Link-DVI Eyefinity Adapter £23.98

If so are you going 120Hz or 60Hz?

If that monitor is still on offer on the 27th I will . I'll probably go for the 60hz at first, dipping my toe in so to speak.
