Will the Lian Li PC-Q07B ITX take both 3.5" 2.5" together?

It will take 4 hard drives (two on top of hard drive plate and two below) both 2.5" & 3.5". I'd recommend the following 'FANLESS' components:
a) Seasonic X-Series PSU
b) Sapphire HD 5670

Make sure you pick a Mini-ITX board though and matching CPU with correct TDP. Don't bother with Fusion unless your only going to use it for surfing and movies. An intel i3/i5 is best for multitasking and editing.

from one of the guys that reviewed the case. from that i would say yes.

but why not phone 1st thing tommorow and ask, u wont delay delivery

It has one 3.5"HDD bay.

You can put a 2.5" disk (SSD I assume) wherever it will fit and just secure it with double sided tape, velcro or whatever.

You think I could squeeze a 2.5" under the 3.5" hdd, as there are screw holes for a 2.5" on the floor of the case?

Ive got the 7mm version of the Crucial m4 ssd ordered aswel.. I guess I could somehow mod it so the 3.5" hdd sits slightly higher up in cage?

No it won't fit. There is very little space. Also note that you may not be able to fit a dedicated graphics card in the case if you have a 3.5" drive at the bottom.

The only way I could see it working is if you remove the SSD from its housing completely. Will you be using the top 5.25" drive bay? If that's free then you could always use an adapter in there.

I received the parts today and both hdd and ssd will fit,, theres about 5-10mm gap in between. I wont be using a gfx card on this build, but using the hd 3000 of the cpu.. Its quite lucky that, as the psu cables fit quite nicely in the pci-e space

Hmm I was sure I tried and it didn't fit! Maybe your drive is smaller than mine...

I'd highly recommend you get a Pico PSU for the case, so much easier to work with inside, not to mention more power efficient and less heat!

Mine has two 2tb drives and 1 ssd

Bay adapter used for slim bluray drive and 3.5in HDD. 2nd drive in bottom and ssd velcroed to side of case.

Definitely get a picopsu. It will do wonders for space inside the case

well there is a good 5+mm gap inbetween the 2 drives. I'll post a few pics when Im finished.

The cables are going to be a nightmare I bet, as Ive got 3 drives to connect up, so 2 cables per drive. The modular psu I bought is about 15mm longer then the norm, so no room really to tuck meny cables at the front of the case.

Like somehow you need to position the cables to keep good airflow, but somehow I think the 2500k cpu is going to cook as the heatsink/fan will be facing the psu, and not the fan side of the psu either... this is the psu I got for it http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-055-OC&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1098
