BenQ XL2420T Now available

I have Stereoscopic 3d on the left panel inside nvidia control panel (Using latest drivers)

I have Enable stereoscopic 3d (Enabled)
Then a drop down for BenQ 120hz 3d LCD or 3D vision discover (Using Benq 120hz option)

I see box tyhat says: select when the display is in 3d mode but its greyed out :'(

Edit - after disabling my second monitor that was on extend display, when I set it to use only 1 monitor I can then select always :)

I must say it can get really good in batman at moments but I just cant seem to adjust above 50% deph, whenever I look away from the character thats 3d or "2d" text is on screen which can be a lot it takes my eyes out of focus and ruins the effect, for example when the hints come up saying press "X" to perform action.

Retard moment inc:

I have been playing BF3 on this monitor thinking...hmm this is worse than my old monitor...something is off here, for a good 2 hours I was playing around with graphics settings etc. Then it dawned on me, 120hz was not enabled!

Omg im never going back to a 60hz monitor again

Try BF3 on Low settings with Ultra Mesh quality and all anti aliasing disabled watch how smooth it is.:p (you should see enemies a lot better too)

What is the reasoning for Mesh on ultra? I know on low it actually lets you see through objects that are far away but does ultra have its own benefits?

Doesnt support my GPU :(

I posted the BF3 settings a few pages back if you want me to dig them out and paste them here?

-Edit- here they are:

Picture Mode: FPS1
Brightness 59
Contrast 50
Sharpness 5
Black eQ 16

I dont really like the preset ones, so im currently using the PCM2's settings along with the DV upped to 60%

100% turn off the anti aliasing? i thought that helped u spot bad dudes from a far?

Kind of...well turn 4xmsaa off(if you want close to 120fps as possible as it drops your fps by around 20 average) and enable low post processing anti aliasing.

Ultra Mesh Quality lets you see further.

ok cool, and do you do that with your 680?

I can hit 95-100fps majority of maps on average(quite often hit 120 in areas) with Ultra settings, no deferred AA only post on but still very impressive....on low i guess around 105-110fps average? something like that. Also post processing AA on low is best or it blurs the edges too much like said above.

It appears I have 1 or 2 dead pixels, what is BenQs policy on this?

edit: meh found it, 5 pixels or more :( guess I will just have to be annoyed by them!
