Sup guys!

It's been a super long time since i've been in the loop when it comes to hardware, but with Diablo 3 on the horizon and my laptop really feeling its age i thought it'd be the perfect excuse to put down a little money for a new rig. So after a little (30mins!) research i came up with the following build which fits within my tight (self imposed) budget

Intel Core i3-2120 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail £99.95

Asus HD 6850 DirectCU V2 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £84.95

Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB Cache - OEM (ST500DM002) £58.99

Corsair Builder Series CX 500W V2 '80 Plus' Power Supply (CMPSU-500CXUKV2) £44.99

MSI H61M-P31-G3 Intel H61 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £35.99

Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GX) £29.99

Xigmatek Asgard II Midi Tower Case - Black £29.99

OcUK 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM £17.99

Sub Total : £335.69
Shipping cost assumes delivery to UK Mainland with:

Opinions? Do you guys think this will be up to scratch? I don't intend to do any overclocking, or be playing any of the more demanding titles (ie BF3 etc); just a few titles here and there like D3, a bit of emulation etc. But like i said, this is something i quickly mixed and matched together..what im really looking for is advice on what i could do better/change, if i've made any royal **** ups with compatibility or missed obvious deals at similar pricepoints.

Also one more question, i was entertaining the idea of whacking a SSD into whatever i end up making as its probably the most noticeable upgrade once you're happy with performance ingame; the one i had was the OCZ agility model currently on offer..would i be able to do that on this mobo?

Thanks again! sorry for any terrible formatting and rambling a little ^_^

Thanks for the quick replies guys! I take it this means this WILL infact be up to handling some D3? :)

I'll look into that PSU too

One thing i was considering after doing a little more digging just now - the new(ish) radeon 7770..seems about on par with the 6850, a lil more money but newer tech (future proofing?) would it be worth the investment?

Also would that OCZ agility SSD i mentioned earlier be good to go with this if i chose to?

The 7770 seems similar performance:

but on OCUK at least, £20 or so more which I wouldn't say it's worth it, the 6850 is a great price!

I wouldn't go for the OCZ Agility, just because of reliability concerns - though they have improved a lot. Perhaps one of these?

corsair force 3
intel 330
crucial m4

the 6850 is a good gpu, with decent performance some reviews here will give you an idea of performance:
